LEAVE NO TRACE

Burningman is very concerned about keeping the Playa as it was when we arrived.  We have always kept a clean camp and as such have not had trouble being placed each year.  Therefore, we are asking everyone to please help keep our camp clean by picking up any papers or wrappers butts etc., you may see.  In addition, when we get ready to leave anything you can do to help pick up moop and stuff in our camp, will help keep us listed as a clean camp and insure the continued existence of the Wanderer’s Camp.

In keeping with the green policy of the camp, those of you who would like to use the community shower we would ask that you use only biodegradable soap/shampoo and bring water for the shower.  We recycle the water by sprinkling it on the Playa to keep the dust down.  We empty the shower catch basin into empty water containers that will have to be strained and treated with bleach before being sprinkled.  This chore is one that all who use the shower are being asked to help with.   If you wish to use the shower please sign up for recycle duty, sign-up sheets are in camp hq. Instructions for recycling water our also included by the shower.
